The Biblioteca Madre project will amplify the voices of indigenous people, females, and people with disabilities of Latin America engaged in artistic practices, empowering them to reach new audiences through multimedia educational content. A team of artists and educators will connect and collaborate with the selected artists to create an online multimedia library that showcases their history, culture, and traditions. The resulting library, along with lesson plans and teachers guides, will be shared with youth-serving organizations across Latin America and the USA.
The Biblioteca Madre program will launch in July 2024 via online showcases featuring the artists and highlights of their materials. Organizations and schools that are interested in participating will complete a short registration form to gain access to the materials and complete a short evaluation form to provide their feedback.
